The History of Reddiars trace back to 14th century when they migrated from Andhra Pradesh and got settled in various parts of Tirunelveli District as agriculturists, which led them into food industry with distinct flavors and recipes.
The Story of Temple City Hotels began over decades ago when our founders K.Subburaman and K.Lakshmana Kumar moved to Madurai and brought in their authentic foods to the “City of Temples” in the name and style of Temple City Hotels. Their traditional delights have their blends from Andankulam (Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli) and Andhra Pradesh. The empire was built step by step with our parent branch located opposite to Mattuthavani Bus Stand, Madurai, Tamil Nadu as its base.
Today, the torch has been passed to their next generation with S.J.Abiram Vikash (S/o.K.Subburaman) and L.K.Abikaash (S/o. K.Lakshmana Kumar), who have deep respect for the traditions established by their predecessors. At the same time, they are committed to innovating and evolving the business to meet the needs and expectations of today’s guests. This unique blend of tradition and modernity can be seen in every aspect of Temple City Hotels from the thoughtfully curated ambience that pace homage to the past, to the innovative menus that embraces new culinary trends has expanded the business to meet out the needs of their customers. This chain of restaurants has now ventured into Food Products, Bakery & Cafes, Sweets & Savouries, Event Spaces, Handicrafts etc.
